JACKSONVILLE, FLA (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers got a late field goal from Brandon McManus for the second week in a row and pulled out a 30-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in Florida.
Backup quarterback Malik Willis led the Packers on the game winning drive as McManus nailed the 24 yard FG for the victory. Willis entered the game in the 3rd quarter after starter Jordan Love left with a groin injury.
Love appeared to injure himself on an awkward throw during the first series of the game. He stayed in until a tackle in the 3rd quarter left him grimacing in pain. He finished 14-22 for 196 yds and an interception. He will be evaluated today.
Willis came in and went 4-5 for 56 yards and a TD to Tucker Kraft. He also rushed for 23 yards on four carries.
Josh Jacobs had 127 yards rushing on 25 carries and two touchdowns.
The Packers, now 6-2, will host Detroit in a late afternoon kickoff on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
