IOWA CITY, IA (WSAU) — The Wisconsin Badgers were blown out in the battle for the Heartland Trophy, losing at Iowa 42-10 on Saturday night.
Kaleb Johnson rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns for the Hawkeyes. Iowa QB Brendan Sullivan threw a TD pass and rushed for one as well.
Badger QB Braedyn Locke was 15-29 for 137 yards. He threw a TD pass to CJ Williams but also had two interceptions.
Iowa had 329 yards rushing in the game to just 124 for Wisconsin.
The Badgers fall to 5-4 and will now host #1 ranked Oregon on Saturday.
