WASHINGTON D.C. (WSAU) – Former President Trump has arrived at his local polling location to cast his vote while voters in Pennsylvania continue to wait for their opportunity to make their voice heard.
According to WETM, voters in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, will have the ability to vote until 10 p.m. EST after a software malfunction caused ballots to not be properly counted. The issue has reportedly been resolved, and officials have stated that every person who wants to vote will be able to.
“No one should be turned away from the polls if they wish to cast their vote. The Cambria County Board of Elections took measures to have IT specialists called to review the software issue. There is a process in place for issues of this nature. All completed ballots will be accepted, secured, and counted by the Board of Elections. The County Board of Elections has express voting machines at precinct locations to continue to allow voting electronically while still allowing hand ballots to be cast,” Cambria County’s election official Ron Repak stated.
Meanwhile, Vice President Kamala Harris is projected to win Guam by three percentage points as all 72 precincts are now reporting. However, for the first time in sixteen years, Republicans will take control of the Guam Legislature while incumbent GOP representative James Moylan will retain his seat defeating Democrat challenger Ginger Cruz by six percentage points.
This result is a stark difference from 2020 as President Joe Biden won the territory by over thirteen percentage points four years ago.
Trump and Harris spilt at three a piece for the first six votes in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire, early Tuesday morning. The total marks Trump’s highest performance in the area, as President Joe Biden won all five of the votes cast in the area in 2020 and Hillary Clinton won four out of six votes in 2016.
