MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — A hot start didn’t matter for the Milwaukee Bucks as they dropped 113-107 matchup with the Boston Celtics on Sunday afternoon at Fiserv Forum.
The Bucks went off on a 16-2 run to start the game which included two three-pointers from Taurean Prince.
The Bucks led by 10 after the first quarter and by 11 at halftime. The Celtics then outscored Milwaukee 29-15 in the 3rd quarter and 26-23 in the 4th to pull out the win.
Giannis had 43 points, 13 rebounds and five assists to lead Milwaukee. Bobby Portis had 15 and Damian Lillard had 14. Prince finished with nine point and nine rebounds whil AJ Green added 12 points off the bench.
Jayson Tatum had 31 points, 12 rebounds and six assists to lead Boston.
The Bucks fall to 2-8 and will host Toronto on Tuesday night.
