EDGAR, WI (WSAU) — A water main break in Edgar has prompted a boil water advisory for residents.
According to a Facebook post, the break occurred on a major line and may have compromised water quality for all residents. Anyone using water for drinking, cooking, or making ice should bring the water to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
Officials are testing the water for bacteria. If those tests come back clean, they will lift the boil order. The soonest that could happen is Monday, December 2nd
