TOWN OF NEWBOLD, WI (WSAU) — A 71-year-old Arbor Vite man has been identified as the victim of a one-vehicle crash in Oneida County.
First responders were called to the scene on County Road J at about 3:15 Friday afternoon where a driver left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver was identified as David Woods. Officers attempted life-saving measures but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information about the crash has been released. Responding agencies included the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Police from Woodruff and Minocqua.
