MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers will reportedly be losing one of their most productive wide receivers as the team continues to retool their roster.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Trech Kekahuna, a redshirt freshman wide receiver, will enter the transfer portal with four years of eligibility remaining. Kekahuna, who was a three-star recruit in 2022, was one of Wisconsin’s most productive receivers in 2024 recording 25 catches, 339 receiving yards, and two touchdowns.
Wisconsin is expected to look for four-star wide receiver Eugene Hilton Jr., the son of former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, who officially signed with Wisconsin during Wednesday’s signing day to help replace Kekahuna’s production in 2025. He chose the Badgers over Miami, Ole Miss, and Georgia.
