WESTON, WI (WSAU) — Less than 18 months after it opened, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop in Weston is no more.
A spokesperson for the chain confirmed the move to WSAU News on Wednesday, saying the restaurant at 2805 Schofield Ave., “was officially closed on December 1, 2024, by the local franchisee.”
Fuzzy’s opened on October 9th, 2023 offering tacos, burritos, nachos, and other Mexican-inspired fare. The location also held a Class B liquor license.
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop began in Fort Worth, Texas in 2003 and has expanded to 18 states and more than 150 locations. The company website does not list any other Wisconsin locations.
The closest locations include Iowa City, IA, and the Twin Cities.
