MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) Marquette pulled away from Wisconsin in the second half for an 88-74 win Saturday.
Both teams came into the game with 8-1 records, both coming off their first losses of the season.
Jam Jones led all scorers with 32 points. The Badgers got 22 from Max Klesmit in defeat.
The Badgers led by 2, 39-37, at halftime. Marquette, ranked 4th in the country, opened the second half with back-to-back three-pointers to take the lead.
Wisconsin is back in action on the road Tuesday against Illinois. Marquette won’t play again until Saturday at Dayton.
