CAMERON TOWNSHIP, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – One person is dead after a Saturday night crash in Wood County.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office said it happened around 11:30pm on Millcreek Drive in the Township of Cameron.
Investigators said the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway.
First responders tried life saving measures on the only person in the car, but they were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released. The crash remains under investigation.
