MADISON, WI (WSAU) – Braedyn Locke, the former starting quarterback for the Wisconsin Badgers, entered the transfer portal earlier this month and has now found a new team.
After spending the previous two seasons in Madison, where he went 3-6 as the starting quarterback in former offensive coordinator Phil Longo’s “Air Raid” offense, Locke has signed with the Arizona Wildcats, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
After joining the Badgers from Mississippi State in 2022, Locke completed 164 of 296 passes for a completion rate of 55.4%. He also passed for 1,936 yards with 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
The Wildcats finished 4-8 under first-year head coach Brent Brennan in its debut season in the Big 12 in 2024.
