GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers may be without two key players on Sunday as cornerback Jaire Alexander and wide receiver Christian Watson continue to rehab injuries.
According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, Watson (knee) has been listed as questionable against the Vikings after missing the stretch portion of Friday’s practice with the rest of the team and instead spent time with the rehab group, which included Jaire Alexander (knee), linebacker Quay Walker (ankle), and safety Evan Williams (quadricep), all of whom have been officially ruled out. During his post-practice media conference, head coach Matt LaFleur declined to comment on Watson’s progress but did say that the door is “still open” for him to play.
Other notable injuries included guard Elgton Jenkins (knee), who missed practice on Thursday but practiced on a limited basis on Friday, has no injury status on the team’s final injury report, and will play on Sunday, and rookie safety Javon Bullard (ankle), who has missed the team’s last two games and is questionable.
