WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – A crash closed all lanes on a highly traveled highway near Wausau.
According to a press release by the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred at 2 p.m. and caused a full closure on WIS 52 Eastbound and Westbound at County Road X. Crews worked for nearly five hours to investigate and clear the scene.
Traffic was detoured from Highway 52 utilizing County Road X, County Road Z, and County Road J.
