MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers scored 15 points in the 4th quarter but their rally fell short in a 27-25 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at US Bank Stadium.
The Vikings got a big day from Sam Darnold and a big third down catch from Cam Akers that enabled them to run out the clock. Darnold was 33-43 for 377 yards and three touchdowns as the Vikings built a 27-10 lead in the second half.
Jordan Love was 19-30 for 185 yards and a TD to Malik Heath. The Packers also got rushing TDs from Justin Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson.
Green Bay drops to 11-5 and will host Chicago in the regular season finale on Sunday. They had already earned a wildcard berth in the playoffs before Sunday’s game.
