WESTON, WI (WSAU) — A pair of D. C. Everest Youth Hockey programs came together to raise funds for the Humane Society of Marathon County and Fetch and Foster.
The PeeWee A and B teams and their families donated food, office supplies, and toys to both groups. The donation was made Monday night at the Greenheck Turner Community Center.
The donation also included some animal bedding.
Those organizations were chosen because “[they] organizations work tirelessly to care for and find homes for animals in need, and we’re so happy to play a small part in helping them continue their important work,” according to a statement from the group.
