NEW LISBON, WI (WSAU) — Law enforcement has released new photos of a person of interest connected to the killing of two children and an adult in New Lisbon on Monday.
Officers say Virgil Thew was spotted at Dollar General in New Lisbon on Sunday. They’ve released a security camera photo of him in the store, in addition to a second photo of him taken from a trail camera has also been circulating on Facebook. They’ve also released a clearer image of him as well:

Thew is known to reside in the New Lisbon area. Officers are looking to bring him in on a probation hold, adding that he should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as a white man, standing about 5 feet 10 inches and weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored down coat, blue jeans, and a hat.
Anyone who sees him should contact local law enforcement immediately or call 911.
The names of the victims have not been released. Officers haven’t said what connects Thew to the case.
