JANESVILLE, WI (WSAU) – A former D.C. Everest teacher who was convicted on multiple “upskirting” charges has been released from federal prison.
The Wausau Pilot and Review reports that Travis Greil, 38, is now living in Janesville. He will have to update his address on the state’s sex offender registry through 2043.
He was arrested in 2020 for using a computer tablet and cellphone to record under the skirts of female students, some as young as 15 years old. He’d asked the students to type information into a computer on his desk while secretly recording behind them. Investigators said there was 81 victims at D.C. Everest Senior High School were Greil taught geography and A.P. classes.
Greil pled guilty in May 2021 to charges of producing child pornography.
He served just under four years in prison.
