MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — So much for tanking. The Brooklyn Nets, who have traded away many of their veterans to hopefuly get a better draft position,beat the Milwaukee Bucks for the 3rd time this season 113-110 on Thursday night at Fiserv Forum.
The Nets win the season series from Milwaukee taking three out of four games.
The Bucks rallied from a double-digit deficit but came up short. The Bucks missed nine free throws in the game with Giannis missing seven.
Giannis did finish with a double-double scoring 27 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. He also had seven assists. Damian Lillard had 23 points and seven assists.
Bobby Portis had 15, Khris Middleton 12 and Gary Trent Jr 10 for the Bucks.
Milwaukee had dropped 3 of their last four to fall to 17-15. They host Portland on Saturday night.
