Marquette trailed by 14 and was down 38-29 at halftime.
Ross scored a career high 27 points for the seventh ranked Golden Eagles. He hit four three pointers and added six steals as well.
Stevie Mitchell had 13, David Joplin 12 and Kam Jones 11 for Marquette.
Marquette, now 14-2, 5-0 in the Big East, will face De Paul next Tuesday.
