WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The annual Tietge High School Curling Bonspiel opened Friday morning at the Wausau Curling Center.
The prestigious event brings two dozen Wisconsin High School curling teams to Wausau for two days of action. Participating schools include Wausau East and West, D.C. Everest, SPASH, Marshfield, Neenah, Medford, and Appleton West.
Other schools will travel from the Madison and Eau Claire areas to participate.
The bonspiel will continue Saturday morning, with champions crowned in the evening.
All matches will be streamed on the Wausau Curling Club’s YouTube channel.
