MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — The Wood County Sheriff’s Office has identified the 64-year-old woman who was killed in an early-morning crash and vehicle fire outside Marshfield.
Robin Skorie of Bryant died after her vehicle started on fire following a collision with a utility pole. Investigators say she was heading east on Heritage Drive at about 1:50 Tuesday morning when her vehicle crossed the center line and struck the pole.
Skorie died at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
