MOSINEE, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers today announced plans for the ‘Packers Tailgate Tour,’ which will travel around Wisconsin from April 8 to 12, thanking fans in person for their support.
The event, according to a press release from the team, will feature current and alumni Packers players, with current players Josh Jacobs, Tucker Kraft, and Lukas Van Ness and alumni players Ahman Green, Jermichael Finley, and John Michels scheduled to board the bus, along with Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy.
The tour will start on April 8 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Baird Center in Milwaukee with a fundraiser for the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation. Doors will open at 5 p.m. There will also be 1,000 seats available for $75 apiece, on April 11, as the tour will stop at the Crystal Training Institute in Mosinee to support the Patriot K9s of Wisconsin. From 6 to 9:30 p.m., the team will host a fundraising event starting at 5 p.m.
Other stops include Children’s Wisconsin, which on April 12 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. will have a fundraising event at the EPIC Event Center in Ashwaubenon. Opening time is 11 a.m. Limited to the first 500 fans, tickets cost $75 for adults and $25 for children. Meanwhile, on April 10 from 6 to 8 p.m., another visit will be made to support the Hunger Task Force of La Crosse, which is holding a fundraiser event at the Stoney Creek Hotel in Onalaska. Opening time is 5 p.m. The cost of 325 general admission tickets is $75 per person.
