UNDATED (WSAU) — The Kansas City Chiefs will get a chance for a three-peat and The Phialdelphia Eagles will get a chance for redemption after losing to KC in the big game two years ago. Both advanced with victories on Sunday.
The Eagles hammered Washington 55-23 in the NFC title game while KC held off Buffalo 32-29 in the AFC Championship
Saquon Barkley ran 60 yards for a touchdown on the Eagles first play and finished with 118 yards and three scores. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts also rushed for three touchdowns.
Meanwhile the Chiefs won their 17th straight one-score game stopping Buffalo on 4th down to ice the win.
Patrick Mahomes had 245 yards passing and a touchdown while also scoring two rushing touchdowns as well.
Its the 4th time since 2021 that the Chiefs have ended the Bills season in the playoffs.
The Eagles and Chiefs square off February 9th in New Orleans.
