MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks have acquired center Jericho Sims from the New York Knicks in a three-team deal that includes the Washington Wizards.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Bucks will be sending point guard Delon Wright and cash to the Knicks in exchange for Sims while the details of Washington’s compensation are yet to be made public.
Sims, 26, was drafted by the Knicks in the second round in 2021 out of Texas. He has become known for his athleticism and provides the Bucks with a youthful big man who can come off the bench and help rebound. Milwaukee is currently ranked 16th in the NBA in rebounding and has struggled this season against teams like Memphis, Portland, and Charlotte, which are among the league’s best-rebounding teams.
