Milwaukee Brewers
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers will bring their statewide “Frozen Racing Sausage” tour to Horace Mann Middle School this afternoon.
The visit includes an official Sausage Race, something that rarely occurs outside of American Family Field, and a donation to the school. A Horace Mann teacher will also be recognized with a “Brewers Grand Slam Teacher Award.”
The tour comes just before Pitchers and Catchers report for Spring Training in Arizona. The Brewers are also marking the start of a new lease at American Family Field, which keeps the team in Milwaukee through 2050 and lays the groundwork for several upgrades at the stadium.
Tuesday’s event is not open to the public.
