MERRILL, WI (WSAU) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim in Monday’s fatal car versus pedestrian crash.
Andrew Chartier of Merrill died when he was struck by a vehicle on State Highway 107 near Snow Road.
First responders attempted life-saving measures, but the 30-year-old died from his injuries at the scene.
No further information about the crash has been released. The incident closed Highway 107 for about five hours while crews investigated and cleared the scene.
