WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The trial for a former Wausa therapist accused of making inappropriate contact with a patient has been moved back by five months.
Aaron Mielke was scheduled for trial in April, though court records show that’s been moved to September 3rd through the 5th. No reason for the delay was given.
Mielke is accused of making inappropriate sexual contact with a patient during a session. The woman says he touched her, told her he would be “thinking about her all day,” and then slapped her backside as she was leaving his office.
The 54-year-old faces felony counts for third-degree sexual assault and sexual exploitation by a therapist. He faces more than 22 years in prison if found guilty at trial.
Further court action is scheduled for August 15th.
