WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – One of the fastest-growing gun companies in the U.S. has formally announced plans to move all operations to the Badger State.
According to a press release, Henry Repeating Arms intends to transfer all of its manufacturing operations from the former Bayonne, New Jersey facility to its newly expanded headquarters in Rice Lake, WI, as well as two facilities with plans to construct a third in Ladysmith.
Anthony Imperato, the Founder and CEO of Henry Repeating Arms spoke about the decision in a prepared statement saying, “We are putting all of our eggs in one basket, the Wisconsin basket, because it makes us more efficient, more
productive, and allows for more collaboration amongst our design and engineering teams, all while sustaining
and enhancing Henry’s solid reputation for quality. With about 400,000 square feet of cutting-edge manufacturing operations in four facilities within minutes of each other, Henry Repeating Arms is well positioned for its next chapter.”
Established in 1997 in New York City by Imperato and his father, the company was named after Benjamin Tyler Henry, the founder of the Henry Rifle, and adopted the slogan “Made in America, or Not Made at All.” The company’s manufacturing activities have expanded over the years to three facilities totaling 350,000 square feet, with over 125 machining centers. Henry is the top manufacturer of lever actions and is ranked in the top five of all long gun manufacturers and in the top ten of all firearms manufacturers.
