Justin Wojtalewicz
STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Bond has been set at $1 million for the Portage County man suspected of shooting another man during an argument.
Justin Wojtalewicz is facing charges of attempted homicide, aggravated battery, and multiple counts of recklessly endangering safety after officers say he shot Ryan Wojtalewicz last weekend in an Amherst home.
Investigators say Ryan was shot in the leg during the argument on Sunday. First responders airlifted him to a Wausau hospital with life-threatening injuries, though there’s been no update on his condition since then.
Justin is being held in the Portage County Jail. Should he post bond he would have a full no-contact order against the victim and two witnesses. He would also be required to surrender all firearms and maintain absolute sobriety.
His next court date is April 28th. If found guilty on all counts he faces more than 150 years in prison.
