WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Great Dane Pub and Brewing Company will close its Wausau location this spring.
Management cites financial challenges for the move, including increased food costs and changing consumer dining and drinking habits.
In a Facebook post, owners thanked the Wausau community for 15 great years. ” A huge shout of gratitude to our guests and to the community of Wausau for their patronage and for fully embracing the Great Dane.”
The Dane will maintain normal lunch and dinner scheduled through April 19th. All groups that had booked events will be contacted for a refund.
The Great Dane will continue to operate its Madison-area brewpubs.
