SACRAMENTO, CA (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Bucks have won two in a row on their west coast swing, topping the LA Lakers on Thursday 118-89 and dumping the Sacramento Kings on Saturday 114-108.
Thursday the Bucks jumped out to a 15 point lead in the first quarter and were never threatened. The Bucks were without Damian Lillard. Giannis had 28 points to lead Milwaukee. Gary Trent Jr had 23 and Kyle Kuzma 20.
On Saturday, with Lillard out again, the Bucks rallied from 18 points down in the second half. Giannis soared with 32 points and 17 rebounds. Brook Lopez had 21, Kevin Porter Jr 18 and Kuzma finished with 14 points & 14 rebounds.
The Bucks are now 40-30, will play at Phoenix on Monday.
