According to a report from the Packers on SI and the Packers report, James Pearce Jr., who is a projected first-round pick, visited the Packers on Friday afternoon for an official top-30 visit, marking Green Bay’s second visit with a former SEC star pass rusher after hosting Texas A&M’s Shemar Stewart at Lambeau Field earlier this month.
In 2024, Pearce (6-5, 245) recorded 55 pressures, 7.5 sacks, and 13.0 tackles for loss, while in 2023, he recorded 52 pressures, 10.0 sacks, and 14.5 tackles for loss. According to Pro Football Focus, Pearce had the second-best pass-rushing win percentage among collegiate edge rushers last season.
