MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The New York Knicks completed a three-game season sweep of the Milwaukee Bucks with a 116-107 victory on Friday at Fiserv Forum.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 30 points and nine rebounds. Kyle Kuzma and Ryan Rollins each scored 20 points, and Gary Trent Jr. added 14 points off the bench.
OG Anunoby scored the game-high with 31 points to lead the Knicks. Former Marquette standout Tyler Kolek scored 18 points.
It was Milwaukee’s first home game in more than a week. While they were gone, the arena hosted first—and second-round NCAA men’s basketball tournament action.
The loss deals yet another blow to Milwaukee’s chances of securing home-court advantage in the playoffs. At 40-33, the Bucks are in 6th place in the Eastern Conference, one and a half games behind the Detroit Pistons for 5th.
The Bucks have clinched a postseason berth, meaning they won’t finish worse than 10th in the Eastern Conference standings. The top six teams automatically qualify for the first round of the playoffs. Teams placed 7th through 10th participate in the Play-in tournament for the 7th and 8th seeds.
Milwaukee will host Atlanta on Sunday.
