WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — After an extensive investigation of a shooting that took place in February, 27-year-old Bobby D Dabbs, a resident of Trenton, Tennessee, has been taken into custody.
The Lincoln County Sherriff’s Office disclosed in a press release yesterday that on March 17th, 27-year-old Bobby D. Dabbs was taken into custody by local law enforcement. The arrest is a result of a shooting that took place on February 7th at X to C Golf Course. The shooting incident left a man from the Gleason area hospitalized in critical condition.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Gibson County Sheriff’s office of Tennessee assisted Lincoln County’s team in putting the case together, resulting in the District Attorney’s office believing in probable cause for felony criminal charges. A nationwide arrest warrant was issued by Lincoln County Judge Bayne-Allison.
Dabbs was extradited to the Lincoln County Jail and is expected to make his first appearance in court tomorrow.
