WAUSAU, WI (WSAI) – A new poll from the Trafalgar Group and InsiderAdvantage has Wisconsin’s Supreme Court race at a statistical tie as voters prepare to head to the polls to vote in less than 24 hours.
According to the poll, which surveyed 1083 likely voters, Judge Crawford leads former state Attorney General Brad Schimel 51% to 49% with a margin of error at 2.9%, which puts the race that could decide Wisconsin’s political future at a possible tie.
Matt Towery of InsiderAdvantage and Robert Cahaly of Trafalgar Group spoke about the poll and what it could mean, saying, “These off-cycle special election races always depend on turnout. Among respondents who said they already have voted, Susan Crawford led by a 55%-45% margin. Among all voters who said they were ‘likely to vote,’ Brad Schimel led by 53%-47%. While the race is nonpartisan, Crawford has the backing of Democrats and Schimel is backed by Republicans, including President Trump and Elon Musk.”
Rating agencies continue to rank the Trafalgar Group and InsiderAdvantage as among the leading national private polling businesses. The organization was one of only a few polling groups to accurately predict the results of the 2024 Presidential Election.
