MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers ended their four-game losing streak and beat the Kansas City Royals 5-0 on Tuesday night at American Family Field.
Emergency starter Chad Patrick pitched 4 2/3 innings of shutout ball. The bullpen was stellar on this night. Jared Koenig, Abner Uribe, Joel Payamps and Trevor Megill combined for 4 1/3 scoreless innings giving up just one hit. Uribe picked up the win.
Eric Haase had a solo homer for Milwaukee. Christian Yelich drove in two runs while Rhys Hoskins and Vinny Capra had solo RBIs.
The Brewers, now 1-4, will host Kansas City today…pregame show at 12:05 on WSAU.
