Wausau, WI (WSAU)– On Saturday April 5th, 53-year-old Daniel Shane Sero was arrested and charged with his 7th OWI offense.
The arrest came after Wisconsin State Patrol troopers responded to an incident on U.S Highway 51 near mile marker 195, in Marathon County. One of the troopers identified a 2010 Chevy Impala located in a nearby ditch, and made contact with the driver of the car. Upon observation, the trooper observed the operator of the vehicle showed signs of impairment due to intoxication.
A field sobriety test was conducted and determined that Sero was intoxicated. The Lac Du Flambeau resident was then arrested for operating a motorized vehicle while intoxicated for a 7th offense as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
