
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Milwaukee Brewers won the series with the Cincinnati Reds, taking three out of four games at American Family Field.
After winning on Thursday and Friday, the Brewers dropped a Saturday matchup 11-7 before bouncing back for an 8-2 win on Sunday.
Saturday saw Elvin Rodriguez get knocked around for the second straight start, giving up eight runs(seven earned) in five innings of work. Oliver Dunn had three RBIs for the Brewers.
Sunday, the Crew got another quality start from rookie Chad Patrick. He picked up the win going 5 1/3 innings with one run allowed on just two hits. Jackson Chourio had two home runs and five RBI’s. Dunn and Christian Yelich had the other RBIs.
The Brewers, now 5-5, have an off day Monday before starting at series at Colorado.
