MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The Wisconsin Badgers have officially picked up two of their top 2026 defensive recruits.
According to 247 Sports’ Evan Flood, three-star cornerback Carsen Eloms and three-star edge rusher Carmelow Reed have committed to the Badgers after taking official visits to Madison last fall.
Eloms, who is the 67th-ranked cornerback in the 2026 class, chose Wisconsin over Michigan State, Purdue, Missouri, and Vanderbilt, while Reed, who is the 57th-ranked defensive lineman in the 2026 class, held offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Missouri, Mississippi State, and Boston College before choosing the Badgers.
The Badgers currently have the 47th-ranked recruiting class for 2026 with only four players committed so far and trail several fellow Big Ten schools by only a few spots, such as Rutgers (45), Washington (44), Michigan State (41), Michigan (40), and Nebraska (39).
