TOWN OF EASTON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A weekend traffic stop in Adams County led to a drug bust.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office says on Saturday, a deputy pulled over a vehicle on County Highway A in the town of Easton for an equipment violation, and discovered illegal substances. K-9 Tekla was deployed during the stop and alerted deputies to the presence of drugs. A search revealed more than 49 grams of methamphetamine, more than 12 grams of THC, and drug paraphernalia.
Samantha Borck and Audrey Hill were arrested and taken to the Adams County Jail. Hill faces charges of possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of THC. Borck is charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine as a party to a crime and possession of THC.
Both women appeared in Adams County Circuit Court on Monday, and received a $10,000 signature bond each. Borck has been released, but Hill remains in jail on a probation hold.
