GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers are hosting their third wide receiver for an official visit this week as the team looks to finish their draft board in the coming days.
According to a post on his Instagram story, Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond is in Green Bay on Wednesday to formally meet and work out for the Packers’ top brass as the team continues to explore options at wide receiver this offseason.
Bond, a former four-star recruit and track star, ran a 4.39 40-yard dash during the NFL Combine in February after catching 34 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns for the Longhorns in 2024 after he transferred from Alabama last summer.
Scouts at NFL Draft Buzz note that while Bond is a natural hands catcher and has elite speed, he is undersized at only 180 lbs and was only able to record one 100-yard game during his college career.
Bond is the second Texas wide receiver the Packers have hosted for an official visit, as they also hosted Bond’s former teammate and projected first-round pick Matthew Golden for a visit last week. The Packers also hosted former Ohio State star receiver Emeka Egbuka for an official visit earlier this month.
