ROTHSCHILD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – This year marks 10 years since Mackenzie Marken was reported missing.
Next week, April 18th, will mark Mackenzie’s 24th birthday. She was only 14 when she was reported missing on October 12th of 2015. The Mountain Bay Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating the case, and is trying to spread the word as much as possible.
Alexis Meier, a Detective for Mountain Bay Metro Police said, “It is an active investigation and ongoing at this time… She was last seen at her residence in the village of Weston. In the early morning hours of October 11th… We are still actively looking at things, going back, re-interviewing people, talking to family and friends.”
Mountain Bay Metro Police are getting a ton of support from their community. Recently Karls Transportation from Antigo, along with South Side Design and Graphics. Designed a trailer to spread awareness of Mackenzie’s case, and further their reach.
Law Enforcement say that if you have any information on Mackenzie, to please come forward.
