GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers may be one of the league’s youngest teams, but a new analysis has found that their 2025 season schedule will be one of the toughest.
According to Caesars Sportsbook, the Packers’ 2025 strength of schedule is ranked sixth overall in the league, trailing four other NFC teams, including their division rivals, the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. The New York Giants were found to have the toughest schedule in the league, facing teams with a combined winning percentage of .574, while the Bears and Lions are tied for second with opponents holding a .571 win percentage.
The Packers will welcome the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles, as well as the NFC Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels and his Washington Commanders, to Green Bay this fall, while they’re scheduled to travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers, Dallas to face the Cowboys, and Denver to face the Broncos.
The analysis found that the team with the easiest strength of schedule, at just .415 combined winning percentage, was the San Francisco 49ers, while the New Orleans Saints were a close second at .419 combined winning percentage.
The NFL schedule for the 2025 season will be released on Wednesday, May 14, at 7 p.m. CST
