PHILADELPHIA, PA (WSAU) – Jake Bauers delivered a two-run double in the 7th inning to lift the Brewers over the Phillies, 5-2, on Sunday.
The rally was set up by a throwing error from Phillies shortstop Trea Turner that would have ended the inning.\
Jose Quintana returned from the injured list. He pitched 5 innings and allowed 2 runs.
The rally allowed the Brewers to sweep all three games in Philadelphia and extend their winning streak to 7 games. The Brewers, four games above .500, are now the hottest team in baseball.
The Brewers travel to Cincinnati to begin a three-game series on Monday night. Game coverage begins at 5:35pm CT on WSAU.
