WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — No rest for the team from Wausau Events.
Just as the dust settles from the Wings Over Wausau air show and Chalkfest, the group is preparing for the city’s 4th of July Fireworks Show at the downtown airport.
Gates will open at 6:00 PM with live entertainment until the show launches at approximately 9:15. Admission is free with food and beverage vendors on-site, meaning no carry-ins will be allowed.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Bags will be subject to inspection.
“We love creating free family-friendly events for our community and the greater Wausau Area”, said Alissandra Aderholdt, Executive Director for Wausau Events. “We’re excited to be able to open the event gates and enjoy a great night of celebration with the attendees.”
No smoking or pets will be allowed.
Should weather-related delays or rescheduling be required, Wausau Events will communicate those updates via Facebook.
