MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Milwaukee Brewers 6-4 on Thursday afternoon at American Family Field.
The D-Backs scored three runs in both the 2nd and 3rd innings and made it stand up. The Brewers did all their scoring early as well with one in both the first and second and two in the third.
Sal Frelick hit his 10th home run and Issac Collins drove in two runs. Andrew Monasterio had the other RBI. Jose Quintana started and took the loss giving up six runs in just 3 2/3 innings of work.
The Cubs lost as well, so Milwaukee is still 6 1/2 games up on Chicago and will travel to Toronto for a matchup tonight. Pre game show at 6pm on WSAU.
