CHICAGO, IL (WSAU) — Major League Baseball’s Postseason got underway Tuesday, including the Chicago Cubs downing the San Diego Padres 3-1 in one of the National League Wild Card series.
San Diego took an early 1-0 lead on a double by Xander Bogaerts, scoring Jackson Merrill. Chicago erased that deficit on home runs by Seiya Suzuki and Carson Kelly. The Northsiders lead the best-of-three and can close out the series with a win on Wednesday.
The winner of the best-of-three series will immediately travel north to American Family Field, where they will take on the Milwaukee Brewers in the NLDS beginning Saturday. Game time will be announced later this week.

Boston 3, NY Yankees 1
LA Dodgers 10, Cincinnati 5
Game threes, if needed, will be played on Thursday.
