CHICAGO, IL (WSAU) — There will be a decisive game three between the Chicago Cubs and San Diego Padres.
Home runs from Jackson Merrill and Manny Machado lifted the Friars to a 3-0 win, leveling the series at one game each.
Four pitchers teamed up to keep Chicago off the board. Starter Dylan Cease went 3.2 innings, followed by Adrian Morejon, who got the win.
Game three will be at 2:10 PM on Thursday on ABC. The winner will travel to Milwaukee to take on the Brewers in the NLDS beginning Saturday.
