GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — Packers DE Micah Parsons has been named the Week 7 NFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Parsons recorded a career-high three QB sacks in Green Bay’s 27-23 win at Arizona. His stat line also included five tackles and four tackles for a loss.
It’s his fourth career DPW honor and first as a Packer. He is also the third Green Bay Defensive End to win the honor in the last 20 years, joining a list that includes Aaron Kampman (2x) and Dean Lowry.
Other Week 7 honorees included Offensive Player of the Week, RB Christian McCaffrey of San Francisco. Carolina P Sam Martin took home Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Green Bay is 4-1-1 on the season and will host the 4-2 Pittsburgh Steelers for Sunday Night Football this week. Pregame coverage will begin at 5 PM with the Packers Radio Network on WSAU.
