WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A Wausau man was sentenced to prison time for chronic neglect of a child.
Tristan Hull, 40, pleaded guilty in August. Police documents say he and his partner intentionally starved a teenage victim, rationing her food and water to the point that her organs were beginning to fail.
Hull was sentenced to four years in prison, followed by four years of extended supervision on Wednesday. A judge did grant him credit for almost two years already served in jail while the case was pending.
Brittany Hull, 30, has a jury trial scheduled for February tied to the same case.
